In 2012 we will celebrate 18 years of Campmeeting in Nova Scotia. Our theme will be, ANCHORED!

What Is A Campmeeting?
Maybe you are not to sure what a campmeeting is. Campmeetings originated in Britain, where people would congregate in one place and "camp out" listening to preaching, praying and singing. Campmeeting was a major player in the Great Awakening, and was a major component in the rapid growth of both Protestant churches and Baptist churches.
At Amazing Grace we continue this great piece of heritage with an annual campmeeting right on our church property. The next Campmeeting will be August 5th - 10th 2012. We call it the Bluenose Campmeeting to distinguish this meeting as Nova Scotian. We named the meeting after the Bluenose Schooner built in Lunenburg, NS, the fastest schooner in the world. We are so thankful that God has met with us each and every year. This year we had about 200 people in attendance. If you can come and join us for a wonderful week around the Word of God!
